Picsart AI Photo Editor, Video: Photo and Video Editing App

Picsart AI Photo Editor, Video is a photography and video editing application by PicsArt, Inc. that combines AI-assisted image generation, photo retouching, and video editing in a single mobile workspace. It has been available since 2011 and is currently distributed as version 30.9.5, requiring Android 6.0 or newer.

The app centers on a chat-style creative assistant called Aura, which turns written prompts into images and videos and can refine results through conversation. Alongside that, it offers a broad set of editing tools: background removal, object erasing, AI image generation, AI video generation, portrait retouching, filters and effects, AI Expand, AI Replace, and AI Try-On. Video work is supported through an editor with music, text, effects, and image-to-video conversion, plus collage options for both photos and clips.

Beyond editing, Picsart functions as a light design studio. Users can start from customizable templates for logos, social posts, stories, business cards, and posters, add text with a font library, and decorate projects with a large sticker collection. Finished work can be shared or used as inspiration inside Spaces, a community area for browsing ideas from other creators.

The app is free to use with advertising and optional in-app purchases. Two paid tiers are mentioned: Picsart Plus for premium content, templates, and extra retouch features, and Picsart Pro for additional AI tools, extra team seats for small businesses, and more storage. The listing carries a Teen content rating and has accumulated a large user base over its long history.

What's New · 30.9.5

Version 30.9.5 includes a handful of bug fixes. Most new features, stickers, and templates are delivered behind the scenes rather than in app updates, so checking the developer's social channels is the best way to stay informed about fresh content.

It suits casual creators who want one app for editing photos and short videos, small business owners making quick promotional graphics, and hobbyists experimenting with AI image and video generation. People who prefer a simple, template-driven workflow will get the most out of it; users looking for professional-grade manual controls may find the toolset broad rather than deep.

Start with a template when you are short on time, then swap in your own photos. For clean product or portrait shots, run Background Remover first and refine edges before adding effects. If you use AI generation often, keep prompts specific and iterate through Aura rather than starting over. Review the permission requests after the first launch so you only grant what you actually need.

Picsart AI Photo Editor, Video packs AI generation, retouching, video editing, and simple design into one free app for Android 6.0 and above. It is a practical pick for everyday creative tasks, as long as you are comfortable with ads and optional in-app purchases.
