Latest changes · 2026.22.0

Version 2026.22.0 introduces a new Hobbies feature. The update adds a selection of unique hobby options designed to let users express their personalities more fully. According to the release notes, this aims to create more original profiles and help users connect with others who share similar interests. The feature is described as rolling out, bringing new ways to showcase yourself within the app.

This app is for single people who want to meet others they encounter in their regular daily routine, such as commuters, office workers, café regulars, or anyone who often crosses paths with strangers in their neighborhood. It suits those who prefer a more organic, location-based approach to dating rather than swiping through endless profiles of people far away. It is also a good fit for users who value privacy and want to control who sees them, as well as people who enjoy playful features like CrushTime and personality-driven hobbies to break the ice.

Fill out your profile with clear photos and set your filters carefully to improve match quality. Use Hobbies to highlight your interests, and try CrushTime or Teasers to engage with potential matches in a low-pressure way. Remember that your location is never shown exactly, only the fact that you crossed paths, so you can stay discreet while exploring connections.

happn offers a distinctive way to connect with people you already share physical space with, making dating feel more grounded in real life. With its privacy controls and mutual-like system, it provides a comfortable environment for those seeking meaningful local connections.
