Question 1

How does the "wait and read for free" system work in this app?

Accepted Answer

Titles marked as wait-and-read free can be opened at no cost, and once you have read a chapter the next one unlocks free after roughly 23 hours. There is no limit of a single title per day, so you can keep several series going at the same time and read their next chapters for free in parallel. The app lists around 60,000 titles in this free-if-you-wait category, and exclusive or early-release works follow the same rule.

Question 2

What is SMARTOON and how is it different from regular comics?

Accepted Answer

SMARTOON is a format offered inside the app that presents stories in full color with vertical scrolling, laid out specifically for phone screens. Instead of page-by-page panels, you scroll smoothly through the artwork, which the app describes as an immersive way to read anytime and anywhere.

Question 3

What are the ¥0+ tickets and the weekly binge-reading tickets?

Accepted Answer

The ¥0+ ticket lets you read 13 or more wait-and-read free chapters per day without waiting, and it applies only to works that currently qualify, which rotate over time; you receive tickets simply by opening the app each day. Separately, the weekly binge-reading feature hands out 100 tickets every Monday, with a cap of 30 tickets usable per title per week, so eligible works can be read in large chunks at no charge.

Question 4

How do the release-day and pre-order coin bonuses work?

Accepted Answer

When you buy the newest volume of a title on its release day, the app grants bonus coins. You can also pre-order an upcoming volume, and the bonus coins arrive on the day that volume comes out. Magazines, single volumes, and works priced under 200 coins do not qualify, and if you use pre-order for the latest volume you cannot also claim the latest-volume purchase bonus.

Question 5

What kinds of works and genres can I find in this app?

Accepted Answer

The library covers shonen, shojo, seinen and josei manga, plus light novels and manga magazines. Genres range from romance, fantasy, action, sports and drama to horror, mystery, slice of life, gag, TL, BL, underworld and underground themes. It also includes many titles that have been adapted into anime or live-action productions, along with a large selection of works that appear only here or arrive early.

Question 6

Does the app hold limited-time free reading campaigns and events?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Campaign titles are offered periodically where you can read several volumes, or even a whole series, at no cost for a set period, which differs from the ongoing wait-and-read free titles because the free access is temporary but available all at once. The app also runs events such as read-and-bingo, quizzes and attendance activities where coins can be earned and then spent on paid titles.
