MangaToon: Comic & Manga Reader

MangaToon: Comic & Manga is a comics reading app developed by MangaToon that lets you read comics, manga, webtoons, manhwa, and manhua on a phone or tablet. It addresses the common problem of scattered reading sources and awkward mobile layouts by gathering Korean manhwa and webtoons, Japanese manga series, and Chinese manhua into one reader, then optimizing the page flow so you can scroll vertically without constant pinching or zooming. The catalog covers genres such as fantasy, action, romance, horror, and BL manga, and it also includes chat stories, a novel-like format where the plot unfolds through messages. A weekly rotation of free comics, a points-and-vouchers system, and short video unlocks give readers ways to open chapters without paying every time, while paid unlocking fees support the creators. The app supports reading in more than ten languages, can download comics for offline reading, and includes a search tool for finding specific titles. It is rated Teen, has accumulated more than 10 million installs, and holds a 4.30 rating from over 713,000 ratings.

Latest changes · 3.38.06

MangaToon version 3.38.06 brings a smoother image picker experience and refinements to several core features, making it easier to browse and select artwork within the app. This update also addresses a range of known issues to improve overall stability and performance for readers. Enjoy a more polished and reliable comic-reading experience.

This app suits readers who follow Korean webtoons and manhwa, Japanese manga, or Chinese manhua and want one place to keep up with them on a phone. It is also a reasonable fit for people who read mainly during commutes or in places without reliable internet, since chapters can be saved for offline reading. Readers who prefer vertical scrolling over page-turning layouts will find the reader comfortable, and those who want to explore chat-style stories alongside traditional comics get that format here too. Because many titles need an unlocking fee and ads are present, it works best for users who are comfortable with either paying occasionally or spending time on tasks and video unlocks to read for free.

Check the weekly free releases and finish platform tasks regularly, since points and reading vouchers reset on a weekly cycle and can be stacked toward chapters you want. If you read in a language other than the default, change it in settings before browsing so titles appear in the right language. Download chapters before a trip rather than relying on a connection at the destination.

MangaToon covers a wide range of comic formats and languages in a reader built for phone screens, with offline downloads and several free reading routes. It is a solid everyday option if you can accept ads, in-app purchases, and a broad permission list in exchange for a large, regularly updated catalog.
